You begin accruing annual leave on your first day of employment. Some employees are provided Paid Time Off (PTO) and an Extended Illness Bank (EIB) and yet others receive vacation and sick leave benefits. Either way, both groups accrue time off based on length of service and hours worked.
Designated Holidays are a paid benefit as well.
Employees are eligible for up to three days of paid leave for a death in their immediate family (spouse, domestic partner, brother, sister, child, step-child, parent, step-parent, grandparent, grandchild, or spouse's parent, brother, or sister).
