Evergreen Hospital is fully accredited by The Joint Commission, the nation's oldest and largest health care accrediting body. Surveyors perform a rigorous inspection of Evergreen Hospital, Evergreen Home Care Services, Evergreen Hospice Services and Evergreen's Primary and Urgent Care Centers every three years, with the most recent occurring in 2009.

Washington State Department of Health Licensure

The Washington State Department of Health conducts a multi-day survey every three years as part of Evergreen's license renewal process. They review the quality of both the clinical services and the facility, and interview staff, patients and their families. The most recent survey was completed in late 2007.

  • Bronze Performance Achievement Award for Stroke Program - American Stroke Association
    Recognized Evergreen for its success in implementing a high standard of care, and nationally accepted standards and recommendations. It is the highest award possible for a new program.

  • Sleep Disorders Center Accreditation - American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM)
