
Each year since 1998, Evergreen's Board of Commissioners has recognized local individuals or organizations who have had a profound impact on enhancing the community's health with its annual Community Service Award. Honorees have included dedicated volunteers, health care activists and physicians.

Shirley and Bob Ferguson are recipients of the 2010 Community Service Award (seen here with the Evergreen Board of Commissioners). The Fergusons have volunteered countless hours of time serving as ambassadors for Evergreen; Shirley has been a member of the Community Advisors program since 1997, and Bob has been a member of the Evergreen Foundation Board since 2004.
