Dr. Likosky, a member of the Evergreen Healthcare staff since 2000, is also the director of Evergreen’s award-winning stroke program, which was recognized by HealthGrades for the past two years as the best stroke program in Washington state and is among the top 5 percent of programs in the nation.
“Under Dr. Likosky’s leadership, the Neuroscience Institute will continue to advance in its mission to offer leading-edge treatment and rehabilitation, where hope and compassion combines with powerful medicine to create life-changing care,” said Evergreen CEO Bob Malte. “We are fortunate to count Dr. Likosky among our network of talented and compassionate leaders across the organization.”
The Evergreen Neuroscience Institute, located in the state-of-the-art DeYoung Pavilion on Evergreen’s main hospital campus in Kirkland, is comprised of four advanced treatment programs including the Booth Gardner Parkinson’s Care Center, Movement Disorders Center, Multiple Sclerosis Center and Primary Stroke Center.
In addition to diagnostic services, the Institute also offers therapeutic neurorehabilitation services, access to clinical trials, educational programs and wellness programs to enhance patient quality of life.
“By bringing key neurological treatment services together within the Institute, we are able to coordinate complex care issues across our network of specialists, always keeping patient services and quality care as our highest priority,” said Dr. Likosky. “I am honored to continue our important work together as the Institute’s medical director.”
