Patient Experience

The information on Hospital Compare website comes from hospitals that have agreed to submit quality information for Hospital Compare to make public.   

The survey of Evergreen patient experiences comes from patients who are randomly selected to receive a telephone survey from our vendor, HealthStream Research. Hospital Compare posts patient experience survey results from our Medical, Surgical and Maternity services.

These results are from patients who were discharged from July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010.

Overall ratings are on a scale from 0 to 10, where "0" means "worst hospital possible" and "10" means "best hospital possible."  Results show the precentage of patients who gave us a 9 or a 10.
