The Evergreen Breast Health Center features the advanced technology of Tomosynthesis 3-D technology and digital mammography, which has revolutionized the detection of breast cancer.
Breast images go right to a computer, where they can be enhanced to allow for more precise readings. The images are read by board certified breast radiologists.
If a problem is found, immediate referrals can be made to other members of the Evergreen cancer program for continued treatment.
If a surgical consultation is necessary, the radiologist at the Breast Health Center will arrange the appointment with an Evergreen-affiliated surgeon located right on campus.
Appointments are available at either the Evergreen Hospital Breast Health Center or at Evergreen's mobile mammography coach. 3-D mammography is currently available at Breast Center.
