Diagnostic Imaging

CT

CT (computed tomography) has become so widespread over the last decade that it's now replacing x-ray as the technology of choice.

Evergreen offers the full spectrum of CT imaging for fractures, renal stones, bowel obstruction, Crohn's disease, tumor staging and a host of other uses.

Our three CT scanners provide layered, 3D images of the body, using:

  • High resolution of images for more accurate diagnosis
  • Thin image slices for increased detection of lesions
  • Multiple slice imaging in a single rotation
  • Increased image flexibility, making it possible to layer images for 3D imaging

Evergreen's CT scanners also provide fast scan times. A body scan that used to take three minutes now takes just five seconds.

This technology is also used in angiographic studies, such as blood vessels in the brain, carotids, pulmonary vessels and the aorta. This 15 minute non-invasive procedure replaces an invasive one to two hour procedure that also required a hospital stay. This CT technology offers almost immediate results.
