Redmond Emergency Department

Our Redmond Emergency Department is an extension of the Evergreen Hospital Emergency Department. It is fully certified to handle any medical emergency from pediatrics to geriatrics. It is staffed by the same emergency medicine physicians, nurses and standards of care as the hospital Emergency Department. 

The Emergency Department is equipped with:

• 16 emergency and trauma care rooms
• Patient-friendly design with more privacy for families.
• 24/7 diagnostic imaging center with X-ray, ultrasound, CT and MRI
• 24/7 analytic lab  for fast test results
• 2 isolation rooms for decontamination
• Decontamination showers for biohazards or chemical spills
• A high-tech Incident Command Center where hospital and city officials can manage a local natural disaster

Our staff includes:

• More than 30 doctors, all board certified in emergency medicine
• Registered nurses
• Social workers available 24/7
• SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Educators) available 24/7
• If hospitalization is needed, patients will be transferred to their hospital of choice.

Family-centered Care

Evergreen's philosophy of family-centered care extends into the Redmond Emergency Department, where our private rooms offer plenty of space and accommodations for family members to remain with the patient during treatment.

Our family waiting areas provide comfortable seating, free Wi-Fi internet access, TV, a refreshment center and a children's play area. Free parking is available under, or next to, the building.
