Breastfeeding Basics and Beyond

Learn about breastfeeding your baby as recommended by all of the world's health organizations. Topics include the benefits of breastfeeding, breast anatomy, feeding cues, establishing a good latch, nuring positions, ways for partners to support and be involved in breastfeeding, pumping and storing breastmilk, troubleshooting and available supplies and resources. We recommend that all first-time parents take this in-depth class to augment the breastfeeding information they will get in their Labor & Birth classes and the Day about Baby class. $35/couple.

Car Seat Safety

Learn about selecting and using a car seat specific to your needs.  May be attended during pregnancy or whenever you are choosing a new car seat.  $10/couple.

Car Seat Inspections

Have your child's car seat checked by a certified safety technician.  For a "full" seat check, have baby and car seat on board.  Without baby, a doll is used.  Free. Call the Evergreen Healthline at 425.899.3000 to register for available dates.

Day about Baby

Couples learn about diapering, bathing, soothing, infant carriers and an introductin to breastfeeding and more. Breakout topics and hands-on learning add to the enjoyment of this unique class. $75/couple.
