Evergreen's Maternal-Fetal Medicine Program specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of pregnancy complications - care that now includes higher-resolution ultrasound and safer, less-invasive prenatal testing.

If your pregnancy falls into one of the high-risk categories, your care provider may refer you to the Maternal-Fetal Medicine perinatologists for help managing your pregnancy.

Maternal-Fetal Medicine provides:

• Prenatal consultations
• Ultrasound exams
• Genetic testing and counseling
• Antepartum fetal surveillance
• Assistance in managing diabetes, pre-term labor, hypertension and multiple gestation
• Surgical Fetal Therapy
• Fetoscopic laser photocoagulation for treatment of Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome. (one of the few hospitals in the U.S. that offers this).

In particularly complicated pregnancies, or when very close pregnancy supervision is required, Maternal-Fetal Medicine can provide complete obstetrical care.

Insurance Authorization

Check with your insurance carrier to find out if you need pre-authorization or a referral from your primary care provider to access the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Program. Once you have appropriate pre-authorization, call to make an appointment.
