Dr. Walker and Dr. Paek are among only a handful of physicians in the world trained in fetoscopic laser photocoagulation. They are the only physicians in the Pacific Northwest able to offer this procedure.
Bettina Paek, MD
Dr. Paek completed a three year Research Fellowship at the Fetal Treatment Center at UCSF in San Francisco.
She received additional training in fetoscopic laser surgery at King's College in London, as well as the Eppendort University Hospital in Hamburg, Germany.
Martin Walker, MD
Dr. Walker completed a Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Toronto and the University of California.
He obtained training in fetoscopy and laser ablation at King's College Hospital in London.
Presently, he is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Washington.
