Gait and Balance

Changes in walking and balance are common among people with movement disorders. Evergreen's program is an integrated approach to various changes in movement to help minimize functional impact.

Our team intervention effectively treats multiple gait disorders, including:

  • Ataxia, festinating and freezing associated with Parkinson's disease
  • Spastic gait often associated with MS or Stroke patients
  • Disorders associated with weakness

By treating not just the individual, but addressing home and community safety, our program is key in giving the person back control and reducing the risk of falls.
