
Neuropsychological/Psychology staff includes:
Dr. Evans completed a BA in Psychology at Colby College in Maine and a Doctorate of Psychology at the University of Denver specializing in Behavioral Medicine. She completed an Internship at the West Los Angeles V.A. Medical Center and a 2-year postdoctoral residency at UCLA in neuropsychology specializing in rehabilitation. She earned her license to practice psychology in CA in 1999.
Before coming to Evergreen, Dr. Evans worked in the LA area, including six years at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center a neuropsychologist on the rehabilitation team.
Dr. Shaw is a board-certified neuropsychologist with more than 20 years experience in the mental health field. He completed a Doctorate in Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Shaw trained in neuropsychology at Emory University School of Medicine, Western State Hospital, and completed his post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at the University of Missouri School of Medicine.
Before coming to Evergreen in 2001, Dr. Shaw was a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri School of Medicine.
Kristy Sherman is a board-certified Rehabilitation Psychologist with more than 15 years experience in the field. She completed her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the University of Iowa and her internship at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
Dr. Sherman is committed to helping individuals and families affected by illness or disability to achieve the best possible quality of life. Her clinical interests include adjustment to illness and injury, pain management, treatment of anxiety and depression, sexuality, and relationships.
