Peter S. Billing, MD

Dr. Peter Billing completed his general surgical residency training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN followed by a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Endoscopy. He is board certified in General Surgery, and is a member of the ASMBS and SAGES.  He is a Center of Excellence Surgeon and has been performing bariatric surgery for over 12 years.

After moving to the Pacific Northwest in 2004, he developed the bariatric program at the Puget Sound Surgical Center.  Dr. Billing is a leading expert in gastric sleeve surgery and his special interests include endoscopic therapy for esophageal reflux, laparoscopic hernia surgery, the surgical treatment of diabetes, and obesity. Website


Joseph E. Chebli, MD, FACS

Dr. Chebli graduated from Georgetown University and completed medical school at SUNY at Stony Brook. Dr. Chebli completed his surgical residency at Georgetown University Hospital and became board certified in General Surgery in 2002. He was named a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 2004.

He is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Chebli was named a Top Doctor by Seattle Magazine in the field of Bariatric Surgery 2007-2010.  His practice was named a Center of Excellence by the Surgical Review Corporation (ASMBS) in 2010. Dr. Chebli is the current medical director of the Evergreen Bariatric Program. Website


Alana Chock, MD, FACS

Dr. Chock graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her General Surgery Residency at the University of California, San Diego followed by fellowship training in Advanced Laparoscopy at the Texas Endosurgery Institute. While on the faculty at the UCSD, Dr. Chock trained hundreds of surgeons in minimally invasive surgery.

Dr. Chock is board certified in General Surgery and  serves on committees for the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Website


Matthew Crouthamel, MD

Dr. Matt Crouthamel completed medical school and residency at the University of Washington School of Medicine and is a diplomate of the ABS. While at UW Medicine, he excelled in general and laparoscopic surgery, and received invaluable experience in trauma and critical care at Harborview Medical Center.

He is the Clinical Director of Quality Assurance at Puget Sound Surgical Center. Dr. Crouthamel knows the struggle with obesity first hand and is also a patient who has benefited from the transformative effect of weight-loss surgery. Website


Robert Landerholm, MD

Dr. Rob Landerholm is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his surgical residency training at Swedish Hospital in Seattle. He has been an innovator in surgical care in the Pacific Northwest, developing techniques that are more comfortable and less invasive for patients.

Dr. Landerholm is Board Certified in General Surgery and a Fellow of the ACS, as well as member of SAGES and ASMBS. He has served on the governing boards of ACS-Washington Chapter and the Seattle Surgical Society. He is currently a Center of Excellence Surgeon and the Medical Director of the Puget Sound Surgical Center, which has AAAASF accreditation. Website


Robert Michaelson, MD, FACS, PhD

Dr. Michaelson earned his MD and PhD at the University of Illinois.  He completed his Surgery Residency at the University of California, San Diego, followed by an Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery Fellowship at the Texas Endosurgery Center. Dr. Michaelson is a proctor for both FDA approved Gastric Bands, and has trained over 300 surgeons in advanced laparoscopic techniques in the USA and China.

He is board certified by the American College of Surgeons; member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and Seattle Surgical Society.  He is also a medical officer in the Navy reserve. Website


Myur Srikanth, MD

Dr. Srikanth completed general surgery residency at the University of Southern California Medical Center and specialized training in Laparoscopic Bariatric Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is board certified in Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and a member of the American Society for Bariatric Surgery, Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, and the Society of Surgery of the Alimentary Tract.

Dr. Srikanth has practiced bariatric surgery exclusively since 2000. He was one of the first surgeons in the Northwest to perform gastric banding. Dr. Srikanth and his practice received a Center of Excellence designation by the ASMBS in 2005. He has performed more than 2400 weight loss surgeries and 1500 laparoscopice bariatric surgeries.
