Evergreen's antepartum ("before delivery") unit provides a home-like environment when pregnancy complications require complete bedrest and close monitoring of both mother and baby.
Antepartum Care Coordinator
Evergreen is unique in providing an antepartum coordinator who is there as each expectant mother's personal coach. She helps with:
- Care planning
- Scheduling medical appointments and tests
- Explaining tests and procedures
- Coordinating communication among all of the medical professionals on the care team
- Making you feel at home during your stay
- Emotional support
Her compassionate support can be invaluable to help expectant mothers regain a sense of balance, calm and well-being during bedrest.
Our Program
Like a birth plan, the care plan details each expectant mother's hopes for her pregnancy. The care plan becomes part of the medical record, and our staff is committed to doing everything possible to meet each mother's wishes.

Your Comfort
Our antepartum unit provides homelike private suites with a daybed for overnight guests, an entertainment center and lots of room for visitors.
Expectant mothers are encouraged to bring whatever they need to make themselves feel at home - photos, toys for when their other children visit, hobby supplies or a laptop to keep up with email. Free wireless internet is available on the antepartum unit.
Free Baby CarePages are available as a way to keep family and friends updated on the pregnancy.
